I am a disabled Grandma, but still able to enjoy family, friends and critters. I own a 3 bedroom home I am still paying for, I have living with me a son and grandson. I have found the home adjoining my property has been in forecloser and I would like to purchase it. It is only 2 bedrooms, and is closer to my barn and animals then the home I am in. My son would rent my home then. The problem is I live on soc. sec. disability and a widow pension and the bank won't loan me the money without a co-signer..I had hope so consolidating my existing mortgage with the purchase price and just use one property for collateral. Any ideas???

I am twenty years old and have little credit other than student loans. I got accepted and transfered to DePaul University for the spring quarter 2010 and my financial aid does not cover the cost of my classes. I am going to school for psychology with a minor in early childhood education. My main goal is to research alternative methods to medication for treating behavioral problems in children, but carreer wise I would like to get into social work or special needs education. I have maintained atleast a 3.0 throughout my time in college. I am unable to obtain a cosigner for a student loan because my parents do not have good enough credit scores to do so and due to abuse as a child have not had contact with any of my extended family in almost ten years. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I intend to apply to graduate school at the Professional School of Psychology after obtaining my degree at DePaul.

I'm in desperate need to help with my school books and some bills. I live off campus alone. I've tried to get a small (,000.00) personal loan on my own but I need a co-signer. What I'm asking for is for someone to loan me the money or co-sign for me. I can pay 0.00 toward the loan next month when I receive a disbursement check from my financial aid. I didn't qualify for my grants this half of my schooling because of the way the Pell grant falls. I will sign and notarize that I will make payments and will have it paid in full in 2 years or less. 

Please someone help. If I don't get help in the next few days I have to drop out of school because I can't afford my books.

I have been out of work for almost two years. I have a co-signer on a Sallie Mae education loan that I did several years ago. Unfortuantely I can only make payments of $200 per month on this $4000 loan. Is there anyway I can have the co-signer name removed from this loan so that I it does not affect their credit rating? How can I find another lender? What can I do so that this problem of mine does not affect anyone else? Thanks.

My wife and I are trying to find alternate means in which we can get into our 1st home.  We have 5 boys, ages 13, 9, 6, and 21 month old twins.  Are credit is horrible, but it may be possible for us to have a co-signer on a home.  We have been through 2 tornando's in Oklahoma that had wiped us out and we had to get help from FEMA both times.  We just want stability in our kids lives.  We know if we can get over this one hurdle than we can take care of the credit problems.   We have relocated to flordia because we have a greater family support network to help us with our kids.  This is allowing my wife to work for the 1st time in 5 years.  We are tired of moving, kids changing schools.  Please if you have any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
